Sarah has been a Partner with Elliot Mather since April 2017, having joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 2005 and qualifying as solicitor in 2007. She is a prime example of the Firm’s strategy to recruit, train and develop the future solicitors and Partners of the Practice. She has a background in criminal defence, representing people from all back grounds.

Sarah began developing a practice in public child care law during 2019, representing parents when social services become involved with families. She is able to assist and support parents at the pre proceedings stage attending public law outline meetings, as well as attending and representing clients involved in care proceedings in the Magistrates and County courts. Sarah also has experience in representing family members and intervenors in public law cases.

Sarah is an accredited member of the Law Society’s Children Panel allowing her to act on behalf of children during care proceedings.

Sarah is based at the Mansfield Office and prides herself on her rapport with clients and approachability, understanding that being involved in court proceedings can be a very upsetting and stressful experience.
