We have specialists in many areas, make an appointment today
There may come a point when you feel that you need some help with the day-to-day management of your property and financial affairs.
This may be because of old age, or in some cases through illness, but in either case, you would want to ensure that whoever is going to assist you is both somebody that you can trust, and who you are confident can act in your best interests.
That point might only be reached should you ever lose capacity. To ensure that whoever is looking after your property and financial affairs are the people you trust and who understand your wishes, you can appoint them as your Attorneys under a Lasting Power of Attorney.
A Lasting Power of Attorney is not only for your own benefit. If you were to lose capacity, be it suddenly or gradually, the fear of your family or business partners might be that the matters relating to your property and financial affairs might simply come to a halt. With a Lasting Power of Attorney in place, they too will have the comfort of knowing that you have appointed an Attorney to make the decisions that you would have made for yourself.
You can also appoint Attorneys in respect of your Health and Welfare. Again, you can have the confidence that somebody who knows you well will be able to speak on your behalf.
Our experienced team can guide both you and your Attorneys through the process of making and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney with the Office of the Public Guardian, ensuring that you will have the confidence of knowing that your affairs will be looked after, whatever your circumstances.
