By law, an employer is only allowed to make certain deductions from their employee’s wages and any deductions outside of the usual tax, National Insurance contributions and pension payments should be either set out in the contract of employment or agreed between the employer and employee.  If you believe you have been paid less than you were expecting, have not received holiday, notice pay or a bonus, or if your employer has withheld your wages, we can advise you on the steps you can take to receive your correct wages.
