Elliot Mather: Breaking Out of Lockdown and Resuming the Recruitment Process

We are currently in an unprecedented period in time. The Coronavirus outbreak has affected everyone on a global scale, permanently altering the way we live and work. 

At Elliot Mather, our dedicated team have worked tirelessly in order to continue to provide expert legal services, throughout the entirety of the coronavirus pandemic. As a business, we continue to experience growth despite the difficult and uncertain circumstances and we remain motivated and ready to break out of lockdown by resuming our recruitment process, initially in our Criminal department.

Gary Dearden

HR Manager

Gary is the HR Manager at Elliot Mather, and joined the Practice in May 2019.

He was awarded chartered MCIPD status in 1995, and has accumulated over 26 years’ HR operations/management experience with corporations including Prudential, Whitbread, Bass, and Co-operative. Gary also spent 15 years living in Spain while working as a partner in a golf retail/leisure business and as a writer.

A major part of Gary’s HR experience has been in the development of programmes aimed at performance management/improvement and management upskilling, backed by extensive exposure to multi-site employee relations and recruitment activity on both a regional and national basis.
