Beverly joined our Child Care Department as a Child Care Executive in October 2022 and is based at our Derby office.
She studied at Nottingham Basford College and qualified as a Fellow of the National Association of Paralegals in 2003.
Beverly has a high level of expertise in children law, having the ability to provide assistance to clients across Derbyshire. She has previously worked in all areas of the East Midlands including Nottingham, Leicestershire, Derby and Derbyshire, with experience in:

• Dealing with private children and public law matters representing parents.
• Representing clients at Public Law Outline (PLO) meetings and advising clients during initial stages of Social Care involvement.
• Representing parents and other family members in care proceedings and other related proceedings in the Magistrates and County Courts in Chesterfield and Derby.

Since joining Elliot Mather Beverly specialises in child care law with families involved in child protection issues.
Beverly appreciates that child care matters can be sensitive in their nature, she therefore aims to ensure clients understand the process and guides them carefully through each stage of their matter.
