At Elliot Mather we believe it is important give back to our local community. Each of our offices support a local charity in order to fundraise and spread awareness about the amazing work they do, and in Chesterfield, we support Ashgate Hospicecare. 

Our team recognise the amazing work that the staff do at Ashgate Hospicecare, which is why we have been supporting them for a number of years. We began by raffling hampers in our office and taking part in all of their events, such as the sparkle night walk. Our team at Elliot Mather are dedicated to supporting Ashgate Hospicecare and we find it amazing how the events bring people together in solidarity.  

We cannot thank our team in Chesterfield enough for their dedication to fundraising, and it is because of their efforts that we ended up raising an amazing £14,000 last year for Ashgate Hospicecare. Although the coronavirus pandemic has affected many fundraising events, we will not let this affect our determination to continue supporting this amazing charity. We look forward to what the next 12 months will bring for our fundraising!

Who are Ashgate Hospicecare?

Ashgate Hospicecare are a Chesterfield based charity who run an inpatient and outpatient hospice, offering a range of therapy and support services on site for patients with life-limiting illnesses.

It is because of generous donations from businesses and individuals in the local area that they are able to offer their services to patients free of charge, whilst extending their support to family members.
