Justine joined the Child Care team at Elliot Mather in December 2020 and is based at our Chesterfield office.

She initially studied at London University and obtained a BA HONS History degree. She then completed her law studies at Nottingham Law School where she successfully attained her Diploma in Law and LPC.

Her working life started in a high street practice in Alfreton, predominately working in Crime whereby she was known by her maiden name of Justine Dexter. She continued to be a Criminal Solicitor Working in Busy Criminal departments for In Alfreton and Derby, building a reputation as a Skilled Criminal Advocate with a keen eye for detail and a very client friendly approach and empathy.

Justine has also had recent experience of Prosecuting Criminal cases having spent time working as a Senior Crown Prosecutor at the CPS. She has recently made the change to focusing her career in the area of Child care law. She has a very client focused approach to her work and all round experience which she will use to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
